Fujifilm aims for higher environmental quality in all its products. To inform customers correctly about the environment-friendly qualities of our products, we make use of environmental labels on our products and actively disclose related information.
Environmental labeling activities are intended to communicate accurate information on the environment-friendly aspects of products through the labeling of products and packaging, provision of technical reports, and sponsorship of advertisements.
Under ISO provisions, environmental labeling is divided into the following three types: Type 1: Certification by third parties (ISO 14024); Type 2: Self-declared environmental claims (ISO 14021); and Type 3: Environmental labeling program.

The Biomass Mark* tells our customers that the materials contained in a product bearing this mark have originated at least in part from biomass. By expanding the usage of such products, we are aiming to contribute to creating a society where the blessings of nature can be used sustainably.
Fujifilm has obtained certification for affixing the Biomass Mark to film products (including FUJITAC Film and Wide View Film) used in the manufacturing of LCDs, which has become a major growth business in recent years as production levels have increased substantially.
Fujifilm is working to expand the use of these products.
