Gradation Processing (GP)

Optimizes the gradation of each body part image according to its diagnostic purpose.

For the chest, the lung field area is displayed in high contrast, and the mediastinum which is usually displayed in low to medium density, is displayed in high density with low contrast.

To display the bone which is usually displayed in low to medium density, the bone and joints are set to high contrast to obtain a clear image. Also, the boundary between bones and soft tissues usually displayed in medium to high density, is set to high contrast to attain a more natural image.

Example of GP image processing
