Attachment difficulty of Protector Filter “LHF-X20B/S” and Lens Hood “LH-X10”

November 28, 2014

Thank you very much for your purchasing and using Fujifilm products.

We have received feedback from some customers on our Protector Filter “LHF-X20” and the Lens Hood “LH-X10” for the FUJIFILM X10, X20 and X30 digital cameras.

When attempting to attach the Protector Filter or the Lens Hood to the FUJIFILM X30 camera, some customers have reportedly experienced being unable to tighten them more than halfway on the camera lens.

If you have purchased the LHF-X20 Protector Filter or the LH-X10 Lens Hood and have this circumstance when you have attempted to properly attach it to your X30 Fujifilm camera, please contact your local Fujifilm service center to make arrangements to have them sent in for evaluation. Our technical staff will inspect them and, if necessary, replace them with a new one. This service will be carried out free of charge.

We apologize to any of our loyal customers that may be affected by this inconvenience, and we look forward to quickly and proactively checking any LHF-X20BS Protector Filter or LH-X10 Lens Hood with which you may be having difficulty.

Please rest assured of Fujifilm’s absolute commitment to quality and service excellence.
