Supplier's Offer / Fujifilm's Inquiry

Fujifilm is open to all Japanese and overseas vendors; please make contact with one or more of our contact points. If you are a newcomer, please send us your corporate profile.

Screening for Qualification as a Supplier

Fujifilm's screening is conducted on the following criteria:

  1. Supplier's technical and quality control standards, and its reliability on the observance of confidentiality.
  2. Supplier's price level and its terms of payment.
  3. Supplier's potentiality on stable supply and its authenticity for assured time of delivery.
  4. Supplier's management policy and future prospects.
  5. Supplier's past performance and its reputation in the filed of industry.
  6. Supplier's credibility in general.
  7. Any other condition that suppliers and Fujifilm take into special consideration, such as patents, joint research and development, etc.

Examinations on the Offered Products / Services

After the screening, we may ask for a detailed offer on a specific item. On this step, we will examine the following points:

  1. Quality and specifications
  2. Price
  3. Delivery terms
  4. Safety and patents, etc.

Sample Evaluation

If we find your offer to be favorable, you will be asked to submit samples for evaluation. On certain products, a series of step-up tests will be conducted in such sample volumes as “Small” -- “Medium” -- “Large” at intervals.

Final Negotiation

If your product/service is found suitable to our requirements, we will start a detailed negotiation on specifications (including safety data), price, delivery, and other necessary conditions to be determined.

Formal Agreement

A formal contract will be established if both sides have agreed on every detail of the negotiation.
