Amid growing concern over the global environment, we believe it is incumbent upon companies to act with social responsibility as corporate citizens. We are implementing a wide variety of measures to promote continuous environmental management across the entire group.

Since April 2003, the Fujifilm Group has designed all new products and improved existing products based on its Basic Regulations for Design that Takes the Environment into Consideration.

Use of Environmental Labeling

As a means of providing accurate information on the “environmental quality” of products to all consumers, Fujifilm is actively publicizing and promoting the use of environmental labeling.

The Fujifilm Group is promoting ever greener procurement by placing environmental care and environmental conservation at the heart of its guiding principles.

In November 2006, Fujifilm held the International Conference of Environmental Officers bringing together all companies within the group with the aim of improving communication on environmental issues and creating a consistent environmental strategy and policy across the group.
