Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. announces a new positive thermal CTP plate, Brillia LH-PJ, for the commercial printing market.

Brillia LH-PJ is a new generation of positive thermal plate with unique features which match the growing demand for more durability and printability in both plate making and on-press performance.

FUJIFILM initially introduced Brillia LH-PJ in Asian countries and is now set to expand the distribution of this product into other areas of the world in accordance with the startup of new CTP plate production facilities in China, USA and the Netherlands.

Brillia LH-PJ inherits excellent tone reproduction quality from the widely used Brillia LH-PI. Other unique features such as high durability and printability have been achieved thanks to new double coating and graining technologies.

The new double coating technology has made it possible to achieve much-improved durability on-press without sacrificing tone reproduction. At the same time FUJIFILM's new multi graining technology, which allows additional micro grains on the aluminum surface, can provide wider ink/water balance and reduced scumming problems with plate.
