Very occasionally, pictures you take on your digital camera may suffer from one of the problems described below.
The extent of the problem will vary from model to model, but the basic cause is the same for all models.
If your images have one of the problems listed below, read the corresponding explanation and then try taking the picture again.
I get white spots in the image when I use the flash
There are white spots in the photo that are not in the actual scene shot.
People have red eyes when I use flash
The pupils of peoples' eyes are a weird red color in the shot.
There are strange striped patterns in the shot
There are odd striped patterns in the photo that are not in the actual scene shot.
There are strange ghostlike objects in the shot
The shot contains faint shapes that are not in the actual scene shot.
The colors are blotchy in some parts of the shot
The colors are uneven in part of the shot.
The top and bottom of some objects are unbalanced
When I take a full-body shot of a standing person, the background is distorted.
