High-speed Auto Focus

Focusing in as little as 0.16 seconds*, high-speed auto focus ensures that every frame is sharp and clear, even when shooting burst sequences.

Responsive Start-up and Processing Performance

Thanks to the powerful EXR processor, the FinePix HS25EXR wakes in approximately 0.8 seconds.* In addition to quick start-up and faster focusing, waiting time after continuous shooting sequences has been reduced by as much as half compared to conventional models. That means the HS25EXR is ready to go back to work almost immediately.

High Speed Continuous Shooting

Capture the action at 8 frames per second in full 16-megapixel resolution. At 8-megapixels (M size), burst sequences can be shot at 11 frames per second. Each frame can be viewed as a single shot or the entire burst sequence can be viewed in a separate window. In the case of pictures taken in continuous shooting mode, only the first frame of each series will be displayed. Press the selector down to view the other pictures in the series.

High Speed Movie

Sometimes things happen too fast for you to see them properly with your own eyes. The FinePix HS25EXR can freeze the action at up to an amazing 320fps! So you can see every single minute detail and watch things happening step by step in slow motion.

Best Frame Capture Mode

Timing your shot is ever so easy with Best Frame Capture. Half-press the shutter and the FinePix HS25EXR starts recording photos at 11fps at 8 megapixel resolution. When the moment happens, fully press the shutter button and the camera captures up to 16 frames including pre-recorded frames, giving you the opportunity to select the best shot.

High Contrast 3.0-inch Large LCD

“Tilting” 3.0-inch LCD Screen

The 3.0-inch, 460,000-dot LCD screen tilts to provide flexible viewing options for both high (45° downward angle) and low (90° upward angle) shooting positions.

160° Wide Angle

Viewable at up to 160° in both the vertical and horizontal directions.

High Contrast LCD with Sunlight mode

The high-contrast (1:1100), high-resolution 3.0-inch LCD screen features Sunlight Mode for clear viewing, even in bright outdoor conditions.

Vector Graphics

The updated GUI (graphic user interface) incorporates flash technology, adding an intuitive and entertaining dimension to searching and displaying photos and accessing features. And a new font display technology produces menus and icons that are easy on the eye.

Histogram Display

Enthusiasts will appreciate real-time confirmation of brightness levels and exposure settings.

Direct Shooting Command Buttons

Access and adjust camera settings and controls with a row of buttons conveniently located to the left of the LCD.

ISO Button

Movie Record Button

A touch of the button immediately switches into full HD video (1080p; 30fps/H.264 High Profile).

Angled Mode and Command Dials

The ergonomically angled mode and command dials put camera controls at your fingertips.

3.0-inch Tilting LCD Screen

Compose shots at even the most difficult angles with this useful tilting 460,000 dots of resolution, LCD screen.

Rubber Coating

Function Button

A convenient Fn button can be programmed to act as a short-cut to frequently used functions; among the 8 functions that can be assigned are Intelligent Digital Zoom, Film Simulation and image quality modes.

Easy Access Memory Slot

A flip-open compartment on the right side of the body facilitates easy access to the SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, even when the camera is mounted on a tripod.

Lens hood LH-HS10

The HS25EXR is compatible with a Fujifilm lens hood LH-HS10 and is compatible with commercially available 58mm filter.

Remote Release RR-80

Remote release lets you avoid blur in long-exposure shots and other situations susceptible to blur caused by manual shutter release.

TTL Flash-ready EF-20 / EF-42

A hot-shoe accommodates an auxiliary TTL flash. Among the options are the ultra-compact EF-20 with a bounce function of up to 90 degrees and the lightweight EF-42,which can swivel 90 degrees up, 180 degrees left, and 120 degrees right.

Protector Filters

The HS25EXR is compatible with genuine Fujifilm 58mm Protector Filter PRF-58. Commercially available 58mm filters can also be used.
