New Noise Reduction Control

Gives you a choice of three levels of noise reduction: Standard, for standard noise reduction; High, for maximum suppression of noise; and Low, when resolution is a priority.

High-speed, High-precision AF Modes for All Situations

The AF modes offer high-speed, high-precision focusing even for subjects in low light with increased AF sensitivity. Now with four focus modes that are suitable for all conditions and intentions, you can focus accurately with your targeted framing through single AF, continuous AF, manual focus and one-push AF (for manual focus).

Shutter Speeds to 1/4000 second to 30 seconds

The S200EXR / S205EXR gives you a choice of shutter speeds from 1/4000 second to 30 seconds, all with a shutter lag of no more than approximately 0.01 seconds. You also have access to a wide range of ISO sensitivities, as well as an aperture range of f/2.8 - f/11 in 1/3EV increments.

Advanced High-speed Continuous Shooting

To ensure you'll never miss the decisive moment, you can shoot continuously at full 12 megapixel resolution up to 6 frames maximum in JPEG format or 3 frames maximum in CCD-RAW (EXR). Or choose 3 megapixel resolution for remarkable 5 frames per second for up to 24 frames. Furthermore, during playback, you can scan through up to 10 images per second.

Film Simulation Mode

Simulate the distinctive look of 5 different types with just a touch of a button. Modeled on Fujifilm brands loved by professional photographers, each breathes life into your image with a quality that previously only film could capture.

PROVIA / Standard Mode

Powerful mode for any subject. Produce colors with the natural tone of PROVIA film, trusted by professional photographers.

Velvia / Vivid Mode

Mode for distinctive saturation and the colors of Velvia. Produce the vivid colors of subjects in photos with great sharpness and color tones.

ASTIA / Soft Mode

Mode for soft, fine, smooth tonality. Fidelity of huge and soft tone are the features of this mode.

Black & White Mode

Capture the dramatic honesty of your image in black and white.

Sepia Mode

Create a sense of nostalgia with the warm brown antique tones of Sepia.

Three Bracketing Functions

The FinePix S200EXR / S205EXR has three bracketing functions useful for high-level photography.

Film Simulation Bracketing

One press of the shutter produces three images of PROVIA, Velvia and ASTIA modes.

Dynamic Range Bracketing

One press of the shutter produces three images in a different dynamic range (100%, 200%, 400%).

AE Bracketing

Continuous capture of three frames with exposure range of up to ±1.0EV.
