Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the addition of a new B1 thermal platesetter: The Luxel T-9800CTP, to the Luxel T-9000 series.

The Luxel T-9800CTP is an external drum platesetter that features cutting-edge CTP technology and a next generation imaging system incorporating a 512-channel exposure head, developed with the aid of GLV™ (Grating Light Valve™) technology. It offers high-precision output and superior productivity.

Features:

Wide range of plate sizes and resolutions

The Luxel T-9800CTP supports media sizes from a maximum of 1,160㎜ x 940㎜ (45.6” x 37”) to a minimum of 450㎜ x 370㎜ (17.7” x 14.5”), and features four adjustable resolution settings: 1,200dpi, 2,400dpi, 2,438dpi and 2,540dpi.

High speed imaging

The Luxel T-9800’s high-intensity imaging laser enables fast, precise imaging at low drum rotation speeds. A wide area can be imaged on each rotation, resulting in the ability to output up to 30 plates* per hour when using 1,030㎜ x 800㎜ plates at 2,400dpi.

Automatic inline punching

The automatic inline punching system performs two types of punching (for platesetter and press registration) at the same time, immediately before mounting the plate on the drum. Up to eight punch blocks can be mounted and selected according to plate size and press type.

Fully automated plate production line

A fully automated configuration is also available by simply adding an optional T-9000 AL III (single-cassette autoloader), T-9000 ML III (multi-cassette autoloader), a plate processor and its bridge. The fully automated system not only creates a workflow that takes care of everything from plate loading to developing automatically, but also contributes to volume demand with its tireless work and, superior productivity.
