The opening of drupa 2004 saw the launch of the Luxel V-6 CTP. The exciting new addition to the violet series of photopolymer products was received with great customer interest.

The C-fit software, of which 500 units have already been sold in Japan, has received critical praise for its ability to reduce the labor involved in color correction work and to easily produce final data for printing. Continuing in its role as a leading supplier of platemaking equipment and supplies, FUJIFILM is committed to the advancement of the global printing industry through the development, production and sale on a worldwide basis of various product lines that include software, plate-setters, PS and CTP plates, and platemaking film for offset printing.

The system can be seen imaging plates on the FUJIFILM stand and is shown in its manual and fully automatic configurations. The unit also utilises a 60mW violet laser for maximum laser efficiency and longer laser life.
