Fuji Photo Film today announced the addition of the FLP-1260 MKII processor designed as a successor to the popular FLP-1260 photopolymer processor.
The FLP-1260 MKII processor features an improved replenishment system which monitors and changes the replenishment rate depending on the size of the plate. This enables more consistent plate development with the additional benefit of reducing replenisher usage, thereby reducing costs and benefiting the environment. The wash water is also more accurately controlled, enabling a reduction in water usage.
The FLP-1260 MKII also features a re-designed plate path and scrub brush section. These improvements ensure more stable and consistent plate development.
The Brillia HD LP-NV2 High Definition violet plate and FLP-1260 MKII processor system are particularly suited to applications involving the use of more demanding FM and hybrid screening algorithms which are notoriously difficult to print on-press.
The new processor will be commercially available in Q2 2006.
