QuickGENE-610L Features
50 g of genomic DNA can be isolated from a 2ml whole blood sample
The high quality of purified DNA samples is critical to successful genotyping studies. DNA samples with a high level of quality control and low cleavage rates are particularly essential in studies involving many genetic markers. QuickGene-610L yields DNA samples under gentle extraction conditions, without using conventional centrifugal processes. This results in higher yields of DNA with higher molecular weight, fewer cleavages and high purity.
QuickGene-610L is able to extract genomic DNA from a 2ml whole blood sample, and able to process 6 samples within 12 minutes.(*)

* Over 2ml of whole blood sample is adapted to pellet cells (buffy coat sample).

Three-step operation and simple maintenance
Only three steps are required after preparing lysate samples: apply sample to cartridge, set carriage and press START. QuickGene-610L’s isolation procedure is intelligently and efficiently programmed to avoid the risk of contamination.

DNA samples isolated by QuickGene­610L require no further purification process. Extracted DNA can be directly applied to genetic analyses studies, including PCR and SNP validation. It simplifies the routine analytical workflow, and results in high throughput processes.

Longer DNA samples
DNA extracted by QuickGene has remarkable lengths of 97kbp through its gentle separation process under low-pressure conditions. Traditional spin-column extraction methods with a centrifuge often yield shorter DNA fragments than QuickGene due to the frequent cleavage of DNA molecules.

The extracted DNA can be applied directly to PCR analysis. It is possible to perform PCR amplification with only a small volume of DNA.
