| Up to 2 mini-gel (51x59mm) can be set. For example, agarose gel for checking the PCR products before hybridization can be applied. Focusing of the optics is set at 1 mm above the glass platen. By setting the software to Gel mode, 2 gels can be imaged at 100 um pixel size. |

IP Carrier

| A special size (85x127mm) imaging plate was prepared for FLA-8000, namely BAS-SR0813. IP carrier is a magnetic plate to stick the IP, which has soft ferrite layer. As the sensitivity of FLA-8000 is designed to be higher at Green-Red regions, the blue (390nm) photostimulated luminescence of IP detection is lower than other FLA systems or BAS systems. |
