For Part 11 compliance and security
In the Pharmaceutical Industry, drug development security and compliance are indispensable items. Toward this end, the FDA is mandating all submissions adhere to: Title 21 “Food and Drug” Code of Federal Regulations Part 11 “Electronic Records Signatures” requirements. ImageReader and MultiGauge software can now be upgraded to support compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 workflow in routine laboratory practice to help ensure data integrity and security.

The records of the display histories, date, time, name of operator and modified user accounts (added, deleted, modified, etc.) are added to the scan images and printed materials.
Using checksum algorithm can detect any changes on the image data.

A result of scanner's self diagnosis (i.e. accuracy, reliability of system ) are reported depending on users’ request.
