PSE Cartridge XL Type

An ultra-high flow rate type of cartridge (2 times the flow rate of conventional cartridges) has been added to the lineup of PSE cartridges that have been received favorably because of their high flow rate and high retention performance. Best suited for cleaning Gen 6 and Gen 7 large LCD glass substrates.

Overview

  • These ultra-high flow rate cartridge filters demonstrate excellent cleaning performance for Gen 6 and Gen 7 large LCD glass substrates.
  • The proprietary membrane offers excellent performance by combining a high fine particle retention with a high flow rate and long service life.

Features

  • Ultra-high flow rate — The cartridge realizes a high flow rate equivalent to 2 times that of earlier cartridges. A flow rate of 100 L/min. or more is ensured with a pore size of 0.2µm. (At ΔP = 0.02 MPa)
  • High fine particle retention performance — The proprietary dense inner layer of the PSE membrane that features a well-defined pore size distribution ensures reliable retention of fine particles.

  • Can be used with existing housings — The cartridge fits many existing housings that are ready for use at a high flow rate, and an ultra-high flow rate can be obtained without changing the housing.*

Main applications

The cartridge employs a membrane of a favorably received, proprietary asymmetrical structure (PSE membrane). It demonstrates excellent performance in the following applications that require high fine particle retention performance, a high flow rate and long service life.

  • Filtration of cleaning water used by wet process equipment that makes large glass substrates for LCD
