"JURY PRIZE" goes to the film Il Divo at the International Film Festival Cannes 2008 (Italy)

FUJIFILM congratulates the producers Francesca Cima and Nicola Giuliano of Indigo Film, together with director Paolo Sorrentino and director of photography Luca Bigazzi for winning the prestigious "JURY PRIZE" at the 61st Cannes Film Festival 2008 for the film Il Divo.

The film was shot entirely on FUJICOLOR ETERNA 500 film, and was also awarded the "PRIX VULCAIN" in recognition of the artistic and technical attributes of Luca Bigazzi and Angelo Raguseo and their harmonious combination of images and sound within the film.

Il Divo has also been acclaimed as a "masterpiece" by the most prestigious US Movie Picture magazine VARIETY as well as being described as "extraordinary" by the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER magazine.

Many years have passed since the Italian movie industry has achieved such high and important acclaim, and it is hoped that Il Divo will serve to spur future Italian films on to similar success.
