Brazilian Cinematography Association Week Event (Brazil)

This year, the Brazilian Cinematography Association (ABC), an association formed by leading Brazilian directors of photography, celebrates its 10th anniversary and FUJIFILM do Brasil Ltda. (FSAO) Motion Picture Division marked the occasion by participating in the ABC Week celebration event.

The event, which took place in cinematographic facilities in São Paulo from May 24 - 29, is the Brazilian Motion Picture industry's main annual event. For FSAO Motion Picture Division, it is an important time to enhance its relationships with directors of photography and to promote information about Fujifilm's new motion picture products.

FSAO organized presentations on the ETERNA-RDI and ETERNA Vivid 500 films, including the screening of demo films which were very well-received by the audience. FSAO also distributed bags with the Fujifilm Motion Picture logo, copies of the EXPOSURE International magazine and DVDs demonstrating the strengths of ETERNA Vivid 500.

A major feature of the ABC Week was the ABC Awards, which selected this year's best Brazilian feature film, short film, documentary film and commercial film.

The main award in the category of Best Photography was presented to a film entitled A Deriva. The Director of Photography, Ricardo Della Rosa, ABC; used ETERNA 250D and ETERNA-RDI film stocks during the shooting of the movie. FUJIFILM was delighted to gain recognition for the use of its products in the movie.
