Fujifilm Plays Major Role at Cine Gear Expo 2010 (U.S.A.)

As always, Fujifilm was a major sponsor and participant in the exciting Cine Gear Expo 2010, the largest and most important annual tradeshow for the motion picture industry in the U.S.A. This year marks the 14th edition of this internationally renowned event, which attracts participants from around the world.

The Expo took place June 4 and 5, 2010, on the historic NY Street Backlot at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California, and provided professionals in the pre-production, production and post-production communities with a look at the ever-evolving technology and work methods essential to anyone in the industry.

Fujifilm's annual VIP reception, the hottest ticket at the Expo, was again filled to capacity. Partygoers made the most of the opportunity to catch up with one another over a terrific selection of food and beverages.

During the Expo, Fujifilm proudly demonstrated its highly acclaimed ETERNA Vivid 500 color negative stock--an emulsion cinematographers have eagerly awaited since the introduction of ETERNA Vivid 160. The new 500-speed emulsion delivers the rich, bold color and contrast characteristics that so many shooters loved in the ETERNA Vivid 160, but with the extra speed for use under lower-light situations. Expo participants were also privileged to view two major feature film trailers provided by 20th Century Fox Studios--movies shot entirely on Fujifilm color negative stocks.

With one of the most popular booths at the Expo, Fujifilm attracted visitors from across the film industry.
