High-Density, High-Output Magnetic Particles Assure Maximum Output with Minimum Noise
High-efficiency recording is assured by an ultra-thin layer of 100% cobalt magnetic particles applied directly to the base film using advanced Fujifilm vacuum deposition technologies. For DV141HD tape, even finer magnetic particles and packed even more densely to ensure high output and excellent C/N characteristics across the frequency spectrum.
Magnetic Layer Structure
New DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) Protective Layer for Enhanced Reliability and Durability
Offering hardness comparable to diamonds, a layer of DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is applied to the magnetic layer to protect the cobalt particles from damage and moisture. For DV141HD tape, the DLC protective layer has been updated with a new surface/thickness profile, and coated with a lubricant layer to assure a consistently low friction coefficient. As a result, DV141HD videocassettes offer outstanding durability and transport stability even in the most demanding professional production environments.
High Output Level
A High C/N Ratio and Fewer Dropouts for a Consistently Low Error Rate
The high C/N ratio of DV141HD tape ensures a wide error rate margin, and the exceptional smoothness of the magnetic layer surface and a new cleaning system team up to reduce minute dropouts and spacing loss. The result is a low error rate for more accurate recording and playback of high-volume HD signal data.
New Hard Cases for Improved Protection
Rugged new hard cases are equipped with side lock mechanisms to prevent them from springing open if dropped. To enable cases to be stacked and carried more safely, the fronts have grooves at the top and bottom, and the backs have a non-slip ribbed pattern.
