FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation is proud to announce that the company has achieved a place on the “CDP Climate Change A List,” winning the highest level of recognition awarded to companies for their efforts against climate change.

Under its CSR plan “Sustainable Value Plan 2030 (SVP2030),” the company strives to reduce the CO2 emissions across the entire lifecycle of products and at the same time, contribute to CO2 emissions reduction in society by encouraging wider use of the company’s low-emission products and services.

There are four key goals under Sustainable Value Plan 2030:

  •  Address climate change.
  • Promote recycling of resources.
  • Address energy issues toward a non-carbon society.
  • Ensure product and chemical safety.

To achieve sustainable development, the whole of the Fujifilm Group is working on various environmental issues under its Green Policy so that it can also be the leading company in the environmental field. In addition to reducing the environmental impact of our production activities, we are focusing on making effective use of resources across the entire product lifecycle, reaching as far as the use and disposal of our products by our customers.

The disposal of our products is a key Environmental objective for FFAU, and is an important part of our APCO commitment, with the Government having set a target to achieve 100% recyclable, compostable or reusable packaging by 2025. To move towards this goal, our APCO Project Team are currently performing packaging assessments across all of our product groups. The aim is to identify and implement improvements, including the reduction of plastics and litter, and increasing recycling content and labelling.
