FUJIFILM Corporation has announced the new FUJINON XF16mm F1.4 R WR lens, with a fixed focal length resistant to climate (24 mm format equivalent to 35 mm), which provides a wide field of view and impressive image performance. The XF16mm F1.4 maximum aperture provides users with extraordinary image quality in low light conditions and pleasant macro photography with a rich bokeh effect, with a minimum working distance of approximately 15 cm for countless creative photography possibilities.

The XF16mm F1.4 R WR features a fast 0.11 second autofocus, a weather and dust resistant structure that can operate at temperatures as low as -10°C and easy portability thanks to its compact size. The XF16mm F1.4 R WR includes a depth of field scale over the focus ring that is perfect for landscape, travel and street photographers who want to calculate the distance, adjust the aperture setting and shoot spontaneously.
