Fujifilm takes its SonoSite ultrasound portfolio to COPA - Paulista Congress of Anesthesiology
April 24, 2019
With over 20 years in the market, equipment meets preventive health needs with a focus on point-of-care
Fujifilm, a world leader in the development of solutions for diagnostic imaging, participates in the COPA - Paulista Congress on Anesthesiology, which takes place from the April 25 to 28 , at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo - SP, as the official distributor of the point-of-care SonoSite equipment.
Visitors and industry professionals will be able to take a closer look at the main SonoSite ultrasound models, which have been serving preventive health needs with bedside care for 20 years. During the event, live demonstrations will be carried out to reinforce how the ultrasound examination can be decisive in the diagnosis of different pathologies, in addition to contributing to the regional anesthesia procedures, since the anesthesiologist can visualize the needle in real time and perform the application with more precision and efficiency. At the Fujifilm booth, the following equipment will be exhibited:
SonoSite Edge II
This model has a sealed keyboard up to the edges and a flat key profile for easy cleaning, maintaining the immediate tactile feedback , through the snap-dome technology. It features a borderless glass screen and anti-reflective film for minimal adjustments during viewing, making it ideal for environments with little space and great movement due to having an optional cart that facilitates transportation.
To facilitate the intense workflow, the SonoSite SII was developed with a portable system that can be used in different hospital environments, including places with little space and has a simple, intuitive and intelligent user interface that adapts to the image needs, through a capacitive touchscreen. On the cart, there is a coupled storage box for items such as medicines, syringes, gloves and other accessories, lockable drawer, all removable and washable material, for sanitation, as well as an AC cable attachment to prevent accidental removal and raised transducer support so that the wires do not touch the ground, another differentiator of the equipment.
First model to integrate advanced signal processing for high-resolution images, 3D clinical guides and multigesture user interface, which allows for the reading of multiple touches using all fingers. This model was designed to adapt to different environments, facilitating transportation in corridors and assisting professionals in carrying out bedside examinations.
It presents the image quality, with sharpness and contrast that allows reading with a wealth of details, in addition to allowing the professional to differentiate structures, blood vessels, nerves and pathologies quickly. Easy to transport, an ultrasound device compatible with the DICOM network, it is ideal for carrying out the most diverse procedures at the bedside, such as: peripheral nerve block, central venous access and hemodynamic assessment of patients.
