Fujifilm Launches “ETERNA ProRemote”

TOKYO, September 8, 2026 – FUJIFILM Corporation announces the launch of “ETERNA ProRemote,” a remote control app for “FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55” (“GFX ETERNA 55”) that enables remote operation of camera and lens functions. "ETERNA ProRemote" will be available as a free download from late September 2026.
“ETERNA ProRemote“ is a remote control app that connects “GFX ETERNA 55” with iOS/iPadOS devices, including smartphones and tablets, via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or wired LAN. The app features three connection modes that can be selected according to production requirements and shooting environments, allowing users to choose the workflow that best suits their needs, from simple remote operation to multi-camera production involving up to four cameras.

“ETERNA ProRemote” enables quick and easy camera connection without requiring the entry of IP addresses or passwords. Depending on operational requirements, users can choose from three connection modes: “Simple,” “Advanced-Single,” and “Advanced-Multiple.” Both “Simple” and “Advanced-Single” modes can be used without a dedicated access point^*1, while “Advanced-Multiple” mode supports multi-camera production by connecting up to four “GFX ETERNA 55” cameras through an access point.

By selecting the appropriate connection mode for each application, users can flexibly adapt to on-set conditions—including remote operation, adjusting camera settings, focusing and zooming while viewing live footage (Live View), and using the device as a secondary monitor for image review.
Fujifilm will be demonstrating the remote control and monitoring functions of “ETERNA ProRemote” at “IBC 2026,” the international broadcast equipment exhibition to be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from September 11 to 14, 2026.

• Users can select from three connection modes, “Simple,” “Advanced-Single,” and “Advanced-Multiple,” according to shooting environments and operational requirements.
• “Simple“ Mode: Connects to “GFX ETERNA 55” via Bluetooth and supports basic operations such as start/stop recording, powered zoom control, and settings backup/restore. Without the need for a dedicated access point, users can remotely control up to four connected cameras.
• “Advanced-Single” Mode: Connects to a single camera and enables remote camera and lens control while monitoring a live view image. Because the camera communicates directly with the iOS/iPadOS device, no dedicated access point is required.
• “Advanced-Multiple” Mode: Supports multi-camera operation by connecting up to four cameras through an access point.

• “Advanced-Single” and “Advanced-Multiple” modes can be used as monitoring solutions during production. In addition to serving as a secondary monitor near the camera, the app supports a variety of production workflows, including image monitoring from positions distant from the camera during crane-mounted shooting and dedicated monitoring for production crew and other stakeholders.
• When multiple cameras are connected in “Advanced-Multiple” mode, users can monitor images from other connected cameras during recording, helping to streamline multi-camera production workflows.

• In “Advanced-Single” and “Advanced-Multiple” modes, waveform, color palette, vector scope, and histogram displays can be viewed alongside the live camera feed. These tools enable users to evaluate exposure, color, and luminance distribution while shooting, supporting accurate on-site image assessment. Display information can be shown either as an overlay on the image or in a separate area alongside the image, allowing users to select the layout best suited to their workflow.

• In “Advanced-Single” and “Advanced-Multiple” modes, users can manually focus, use Touch AF, and control power zoom while monitoring the live camera feed. This enables precise camera and lens operation from an iOS/iPadOS device, even in situations where direct access to the camera is difficult, such as crane-mounted shooting.
• Video files and Grab files^*2 can be downloaded directly to the connected device. Captured content can be saved and shared immediately, improving on-set efficiency and supporting smoother production workflows.

• In “Advanced-Single” and “Advanced-Multiple” modes, key camera settings and shooting information, including frame rate, shutter angle, ISO sensitivity, ND filter value, iris, and color settings, can be viewed at a glance alongside the live video feed. The app also enables video and Grab file downloads to connected iOS/iPadOS devices for convenient on-location review and sharing.
• The app supports saving and loading camera settings, making it easy to manage configurations for different shooting conditions and production environments. When multiple cameras are connected in “Simple” or “Advanced-Multiple” mode, settings from one camera can be copied to other connected cameras, simplifying camera matching in multi-camera productions.
