Since 2025, Fujifilm has been supporting the German Foundation for Young Adults with Cancer (DSFJEMK) with an annual donation of 15,000 euros. This commitment continued in 2026 with a further donation of the same amount.
Through this support, Fujifilm is specifically promoting initiatives for young adults with cancer in the Düsseldorf region. The donations help to strengthen the local community and enable those affected to access opportunities for discussion, advice and mutual support.
Cancer presents unique challenges for young adults between the ages of 18 and 39. Studies, starting a career, relationships, or family planning may suddenly take a back seat. At the same time, those affected must deal with complex medical, psychological, and social issues.
Through its donation, Fujifilm is supporting the TREFFPUNKT Düsseldorf and helping to further develop local services for young adults with cancer and make them accessible to more people affected by the disease. Since 2019, TREFFPUNKT has provided a space for exchange, mutual support and community. At the same time, Fujifilm’s commitment strengthens the work of the German Foundation for Young Adults with Cancer. The foundation advocates nationwide for the specific needs of young people with cancer, promotes support services and helps to improve the medical, psychological and social care provided to this target group.
