Process Technicians

FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe B.V. in Tilburg has a several vacancies for Process technicians in the Manufacturing department.

As Process Technician you are responsible within the Process area for an undisturbed production by performing process controls and solving small (1st line) disturbances. You also collect data and take care of reports. You are also responsible for calibrating the equipment. Besides this, you carry out activities aimed at periodic maintenance. As Process Technician within Fujifilm you constantly strive to optimize the process by participating in improvement processes, projects and making improvement proposals.

  • Completed technical education MBO Procestechniek level 3/4 or Operator-B/C, or a completed technical education with the willingness to follow a Operator-B/C education;
  • Work experience in process technology is an advantage;
  • Willingness to join the CSPG organisation is an advantage;
  • Good command of the Dutch language;
  • You are fulltime available.

We are looking for a candidate who is flexible and can work independently. In this position, you will be put to work in the production lines. You will be working with a different product each time, with its own specifications and problems, and you will be working in different sections. The process is dynamic and makes an appeal to your physical abilities. Because of this, no day is the same. It is also important that you work according to the set procedures and know how to apply them in practice. You work in a shift system under the supervision of a Lead Technician.

FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe B.V. is one of the largest production facilities outside of Japan. Here we are responsible for the production of photo paper, offset plates and membranes with about 700 employees. In addition, we are expanding with a new plant for the healthcare industry where we will produce cell culture media. In the Tilburg Research Laboratory we are continuously developing new technologies and products. Next to this a part of the European headquarters is located in Tilburg. This company is responsible for procurement, finance, IT, logistics and customs matters.

Within Fujifilm Manufacturing Europe B.V. there are two production environments for which we are looking for new colleagues.

The CLP department is responsible for the production of photographic colour paper. Here, laminated paper is provided with a coating. This is divided into two sub-processes; emulsion-making and coating-drying. Then the large rolls of photographic coloured paper, the so-called master rolls, are cut and processed into commercial format. These are then packed light-tight, stacked on pallets and prepared for shipping.

The PSP department processes large aluminium rolls into coated offset plates that are used in the graphics industry. The large offset plates, so-called master sheets, are cut in another section, packed lighttight and prepared for shipping.
