Fujifilm Europe B.V. in Tilburg has a vacancy for a Purchasing Officer within the Procurement department.

In this position you are responsible for the procurement of services and materials on behalf of Engineering, Maintenance and Facilities. In cooperation with the internal customer you determine the approach for these commodities. In doing so, you will request tenders, select suppliers, conduct contract negotiations and conclude contracts. In addition, you take the lead in relations with existing and new suppliers, including the handling of complaints. In this role, you will also take initiatives for cost reduction programs.

  • A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in Industrial Engineering or Economics;
  • NEVI 1 is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage;
  • Purchasing experience is an advantage;
  • Affinity with working in a production environment
  • Your communication in word and writing, also in English, is excellent.

You are able to think along pro-actively with the internal customer and you also take the initiative in this. The ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and your internal customers is an essential part of your job. Furthermore, you have a commercial attitude, are able to convince others, have negotiating skills and enjoy working in a team. Delivering added value to our internal customers is our top priority!

Fujifilm Europe B.V., part of the European headquarters, is located in Tilburg. This company is responsible for the sales and distribution of products for the European market, the Middle East and Africa. In addition, Tilburg is home to one of the largest Fujifilm production facilities outside Japan, responsible for the production of photo paper, offset plates and membranes. A new factory for cell culture media is currently being built in Tilburg. The Tilburg Research Laboratory is also located here and works on the development of new products and technologies.
