Sr. Electrical Technician CLP

The function

  • Perform and optimise preventive maintenance on installations in both an automated process and finishing environment;
  • Detecting, analysing and resolving faults (troubleshooting);
  • Preparing, coordinating and monitoring maintenance work performed by third parties;
  • Making proposals for improvements to installations to achieve further stabilisation, cost savings, replacement processes;
  • Actively supporting production (including transferring knowledge).

We ask

  • At least a completed MBO 3 degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or Mechatronics;
  • 4 - 8 years' experience in maintenance and troubleshooting;
  • NEN3140 and VCA-VOL training is a plus;
  • Taking turns carrying the day shift pager is part of the job, as well as performing breakdown service outside working hours.

Given the size and diversity, we expect a skilled, practical (hands-on mentality) colleague who can work well together and takes initiatives to optimise. You also have good analytical skills.

Where are you going to work

Fujifilm Manufacturing Europe B.V. is one of the largest Fujifilm production sites besides Japan. At this site we are responsible for the production of photographic paper, offset plates and membranes. In addition, we just opened our new Life Science Manufacturing plant where we produce cell culture media. Furthermore, the Tilburg Research Laboratory and part of the European Headquarters are located in Tilburg, responsible for the development of new products and technologies, purchasing, finance, IT, logistics and customs matters.

The team

The Plant Maintenance department is primarily responsible for setting up, implementing and optimising preventive maintenance plans and analysing, remedying and preventing faults in production equipment. The department's tasks also include optimising equipment and supervising process improvement projects.
