FUJIFILM launches new concept for employee volunteering

FUJIFILM does!

The kick-off for the renewed cooperation with ContourdeTwern: Fujifilm participates in the World Clean up day.

For years, Fujifilm employees have been given the opportunity to do volunteer work. This year, Fujifilm has teamed up again with ContourdeTwern to create a new concept for the company. Previous years Fujifilm employees could choose from various social projects, this year Fujifilm will join the World Clean up day and on one day, 15 September 2021, employees can work to clean up litter. This will take place in residential areas in Tilburg, near the Fujifilm site.

Ton van Roessel (Staff Director Fujifilm Manufacturing Europe B.V.): "We have chosen this concept because it is an important theme. It also fits in well with Fujifilm's ambitions worldwide, as described in the Sustainable Value plan.

Cleaning up litter also appeals to me personally. We should be careful of our nature and take action ourselves!"

Every year, over 100 employees participate in the volunteer program. Employees contribute half a day off, the other half being sponsored by Fujifilm. This employee volunteering is organised in cooperation with ContourdeTwern. Registration is now open.
