- Fuji Photo Film and Rank Xerox establish Fuji Xerox as a joint venture, capitalized at 200 million yen (equity ratio: 50/50). (photo)
- Launches the Fuji Xerox 914.

- Enters the Philippines market, and later establishes a joint venture or appoints agents in other AP regions.

- Launches Beautiful Campaign

- Re-enters the Vietnamese market after 19 years absence.

- Acquires Sony Tektronix Corporation's printing business and establishes Phaser Printing Japan Co., Ltd.
- Acquires Nippon Carbide Industries Company's chemical toner business and establishes new plant in Toyama.
- Establishes AccessTicket Systems Inc.
- Achieves resource recycling rate of 99.97% through zero-waste system established nationwide.
- Acquires Chinese Mainland/Hong Kong SAR Operations from Xerox Corporation.
2001
- Consolidated to Fuji Photo Film Group with equity increase to 75% owned by Fuji Photo Film and 25% by Xerox Corporation.
- Acquires laser printer business from NEC Corporation and establishes Fuji Xerox Printing Systems Co., Ltd.
- Establishes Niigata Fuji Xerox Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
2002

- Takes over Reprography and Consultants, Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.,
- Concludes a technology-based partnership with Dell Inc. of the United States.

- Xworks Co., Ltd. commences operations as a provider of document outsourcing services.
- Expands manufacturing in Shanghai to provide the global market with digital copy and multifunction devices.

- Establishes Future Edge: an open innovation hub to transform customers' communication businesses utilizing printing technologies
2019
- FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation acquired (including through its subsidiaries) the entire 25 percent stake in Fuji Xerox from Xerox Corporation (including from its subsidiaries) and made Fuji Xerox a wholly owned subsidiary
2020
- Decides to end the Technology Agreement with Xerox Corporation on the agreement’s expiration date, March 31, 2021
- Completes the Acquisition of Australian Office IT Services Provider, CSG, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific
- Establishes FUJIFILM RIPCORD, a joint venture with U.S.-based Ripcord to provide services that drive digital transformation.
