“Apeos C5570” Complies with the New EPEAT 2.0 Criteria, an International Ecolabel for Electronics

Named an “EPEAT 2.0 Launch Partner” as an Early Registrant

“EPEAT” is an international ecolabel for electronics operated by the U.S.-based non-profit Global Electronics Council® (GEC). It is widely used worldwide by corporations, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and government agencies as a key criterion for selecting electrical and electronic products.

The updated criteria, EPEAT 2.0, released in December 2025, introduces a new framework that replaces the previous criteria, EPEAT 1.0. It is comprised of five modules: Climate Change Mitigation, Sustainable Use of Resources, Chemicals of Concern, Responsible Supply Chain, and Imaging Equipment Consumables. EPEAT 2.0 expands requirements beyond product-level performance to include full supply chain engagement, as well as enhanced expectations for environmental and social performance, transparency, and accountability. These requirements include governance and disclosure standards across the entire supply chain, such as codes of conduct related to occupational health and safety and human rights, with compliance subject to rigorous verification.

Apeos C5570 (Model-CPS-C-2TM), an A3 digital color multifunction printer designed for the U.S. market and newly registered at the Bronze Tier under EPEAT 2.0, has been developed based on Fujifilm’s longstanding commitment to environmentally conscious design, including energy efficiency and resource reduction initiatives.* It meets the newly introduced design requirements under the EPEAT 2.0 criteria, including design for disassembly, the use of recycled materials, and the reduction of chemical substances, without requiring additional design modifications for compliance.
Its corporate-wide initiatives, which include efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase the use of renewable energy at its sites, strengthen supply chain management, and enhance transparency through information disclosure, have supported the Company’s alignment with the requirements of this ecolabel. We will gradually expand registration to include other models in the same series. Looking ahead, Fujifilm aims to build on these initiatives by working closely with suppliers to further reduce environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle and accelerate the development of products that contribute to addressing environmental challenges in society.

Under the Fujifilm Group’s CSR plan “Sustainable Value Plan 2030 (SVP2030),” which targets fiscal year 2030, FUJIFILM Business Innovation is committed to addressing climate change, promoting resource circulation, and respecting human rights. Through strengthening CSR frameworks across the entire supply chain, the Company will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
