About the impact of our Mac OS X printer drivers for macOS Monterey 12.3

Dear Customers,
First of all, we would like to thank you for your continuous patronage towards Fujifilm (erstwhile Fuji Xerox) products.
In our internal compatibility test for macOS Monterey 12.3 Beta, we found the potential issue of the printing function in the use of our current Mac OS X printer drivers on macOS Monterey 12.3.
Due to above mentioned situation, we would recommend our customers to confirm the symptoms before upgrading macOS to macOS Monterey 12.3.
Details of symptom
We confirmed by our testing that the print jobs cannot be proceeded as they are not sent to the printer after they are stored in the print spooler on Mac OS X when you use our current Mac OS X printer drivers in the upgraded environment to macOS Monterey 12.3.
- NoteThis symptom is found on macOS Monterey 12.3 Beta as of March 2, 2022; hence, the symptom may change after the final release of macOS Monterey 12.3.
Affected drivers
The symptom is caused by our printer drivers for Mac OS X currently available for our products. Please refer to “Affected model list”.
Please note that we confirmed the PostScript drivers works properly without this issue.
Countermeasure for the symptom
Mac OS X printer drivers currently available do not support macOS Monterey 12.3.
We plan to release the improved version of Mac OS X printer drivers in the middle of March 2022.
If macOS Monterey 12.3 is available before our release of the fixed printer drivers, we would recommend our customers to wait the macOS upgrading.
Workaround
In case that you may face this symptom using our Mac OS X printer drivers after upgrading macOS Monterey 12.3, please refer to the workarounds explained below.
- Please use AirPrint feature
- Please use the print function of CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) or Internet Service of our products by converting the target files to PDF format using Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- NotePlease refer to Help for CentreWare Internet Services or Internet Service about the details of procedure.
