Notice of impact and measure on Fujifilm products by the disablement of basic authentication for Exchange Online

Dear customers,
First of all, we would like to thank you for your continuous patronage towards Fujifilm products.
Microsoft announced the basic authentication will be disabled for Exchange Online except SMTP authentication on October 1, 2022.
Please refer to the below link about the details of this announcement.
We will notify the impact on our products (Multi-function printers/Single-function printers) and workarounds as below.
Impact on our products
If a customer is using Exchange Online with their POP server defined to use basic authentication,the following functions will not work.
- Email receipt print
- Internet fax receipt print
You can check if this is the problem by looking for the following error in the “Error History Report.”*.
You can also check from the Internet Service for particular products.
- * Error code : 027-502 (POP Authentication Failed)
Workarounds
Please specify POP3 server with Exchange Online supporting OAuth via Internet Services.
Please refer to“Exchange Online POP3 Server Settings.”

- Agreed by administrator on Azure Active Directory (Tenant administrator to do it)
- Change the settings via Internet Services (Machine administrator to do it)
