• Use your multifunction printers in an environment protected by equipment such as firewall.
Block unspecified accesses from external networks and restrict communications only to those permitted.

• Change the system administrator password from the factory default to a difficult password.

• If it is not necessary to access the multifunction printer from external networks, it is recommended to set a private IP address for the multifunction printer.
