FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific Pte Ltd - Malaysia Operations Note 1 (hereinafter referred to as "FUJIFILM Business Innovation") fully understands the inherent responsibility of "entities handling personal information" to protect personal information Note 2 of all people including customers and suppliers who provide personal information to FUJIFILM Business Innovation (hereinafter such information is referred to as "personal information" and each of such persons is referred to as "the person"). Therefore, FUJIFILM Business Innovation has established specific policies on handling personal information as stated below, and thus will make every effort to protect personal information.
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation may request Personal Data to be provided to enable FUJIFILM Business Innovation to enter into commercial transaction with the individual.
- Personal Data which may be collected includes but not limited to information concerning the individual’s name, address and contact information.
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation will notify the purpose for which the collected Personal Data may be processed (hereinafter referred to as "Purpose(s) of Use") when requesting an individual to provide his/her Personal Data and obtain consent from the individual in advance before processing his/her Personal Data.
- Except if an individual rejects FUJIFILM Business Innovation from processing his/her Personal Data in writing, FUJIFILM Business Innovation may process the Personal Data for any of the following purposes:
- provision of information related to FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s business including information related to products and services by e-mail, direct mail and/or facsimile;
- marketing activities which include but not limited to face-to-face marketing and telephone call;
- enhancement on customer relation activities;
- to meet any legal or regulatory requirements relating to the provision of products and/or services; or
- for other purposes required to operate, maintain and management of FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s business.
In order to prevent leakage, alteration, loss, or processing Personal Data for purposes other than the Purpose of Use, FUJIFILM Business Innovation manages Personal Data strictly in a safe environment under strict security according to applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, standard operating procedures and guidelines.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation does not disclose Personal Data to any third party except for the following situations:
- when the individual has given his/her consent to disclose;
- when Personal Data is disclosed to FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s dealer(s) or affiliate(s) that is obligated to preserve confidentiality to FUJIFILM Business Innovation (hereinafter referred to as "the Business Associate") within the scope necessary to perform the Purpose of Use;
- when FUJIFILM Business Innovation deems it appropriate for the individual's inquiry or request of some materials to be answered or supported by the Business Associate and Personal Data is required to be disclosed to such Business Associate;
- when it is necessary for the settlement of payment for products purchased or services provided to disclose Personal Data to relevant parties such as financial institutions to verify the accuracy of bank account information and/or the validity of relevant credit cards;
- when a part of the FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s business operation has been succeeded to another company and FUJIFILM Business Innovation will make every possible effort to ensure that the successor does not leak Personal Data as well as not use Personal Data for any purpose other than the Purpose of Use;
- when disclosure to a third party is authorized by applicable laws or guidelines;
- when a judicial or administrative organization has ordered the disclosure or provision of Personal Data according to applicable law and regulation;
- when Personal Data is necessary to be disclosed to FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s affiliated companies; or any third party service provider which may be located overseas to perform the relevant Purpose of Use.
- An individual who wishes to access, review, amend, or correct his/her Personal Data shall contact the relevant personnel from FUJIFILM Business Innovation that he/she is in contact with; or FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s Personal Data Protection Officer (“PDPO”). The contact information of the PDPO are stated at the end of this Policy.
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation will respond to any of the individual's request in accordance with the relevant procedures in place.
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation may conduct verification with the respective individual to confirm whether the request or query made is by him/her to prevent unlawful acquisition or alteration of Personal Data by any third party.
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation may use cookies, web beacons, or IP addresses recorded on the website operated by FUJIFILM Business Innovation for the following purposes:
- to identify the causes of problems arising at web servers and to resolve these problems;
- to improve the contents of web sites and e-mail;
- to customize the contents of web sites and e-mail for the user's individual interest or purpose;
- to use browsing history by the person and the results of questionnaires for marketing by FUJIFILM Business Innovation in the service for membership system where personal data of the individual has been registered in advance;
- to obtain aggregated site visitation statistics whereby the individual person cannot be identified.

- The term “Web beacon” used in this Policy means the technology to acquire aggregated site visitation statistics of access to the specified web pages using cookies.
- The term “IP address” used in this Policy means the number that can specify the computer accessing the servers. (User of computer cannot be specified.)
- Use of Google Analytics
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation may use Google Analytics on FUJIFILM Business Innovation sites to grasp how the sites are used by visitors. Google Analytics gathers access information using first party cookies without specifying individuals.
- It is provided in Google Analytics’ Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy on the manner of gathering and using access information.

- Secure Sockets Layer
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation will use encryption by Secure Sockets Layer (hereinafter referred to as “SSL”) or other security technologies to prevent tapping into the communication process by third parties when the individual provides his/her Personal Data through FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s sites. There may be certain FUJIFILM Business Innovation sites which may not support SSL by restrictions of systems or other reasons. In such cases, FUJIFILM Business Innovation will display on such websites that security cannot be preserved in communication process.
- However, these technologies may not be used in some rare cases because of the individual's computer environment. In such cases, FUJIFILM Business Innovation will display on the website that security cannot be ensured in the communication process.
- Respective Usage Contract
When extra provisions are different from those of this Privacy Policy are settled on through a usage contract of FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s sites, FUJIFILM Business Innovation will preferentially apply the said usage contract.
- Linked Sites from FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s Sites
- FUJIFILM Business Innovation sites may include links to websites outside FUJIFILM Business Innovation

- The user registration service is provided only for customers based in Malaysia.
- Customers that are not based in Malaysia will not be able to perform the user registration or use such service in principle.
