In the Jet Reports/Jet Analytics solution lineup, Jet Analytics has been released as a BI solution, and Jet Reports as a reporting solution.
Jet Reports is a reporting solution that works entirely within Excel. Data in the system can be accessed in real time through Excel, and reports, graphs, etc. can be created. No complicated programming required. You can freely create reports in any layout and format using simple Jet functions and Excel formatting, and you can also customize your own report templates. In addition, Jet Reports can aggregate and report information across multiple companies and databases, and it is also possible to extract reports of trial balances and inventory data across companies.
Jet Analytics is a very simple BI solution developed for Microsoft Dynamics ERP. Like Jet Reports, it is a solution that works in conjunction with Excel. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface lets you manipulate data visually with little training required. Jet Analytics extracts the data accumulated in the ERP into a data warehouse, creates cubes, and performs quick analysis. For Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Jet Analytics comes pre-configured with six OLAP cube templates (Finance, Sales, Purchases, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory) specifically designed for the Dynamics 365 Business Central database.
