Fujifilm India with Max Healthcare Successfully Conclude the Second Radio-Diagnostics Fellowship Training In Breast Cancer

8th June 2021, New Delhi: Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd, a pioneer in imaging technologies, along with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket a leading hospital chain in North India today announced their second fellowship (completion) as part of an ongoing programme to train doctors in breast imaging and advance diagnostics.
The brands organised a felicitation ceremony to celebrate the success of their association and congratulated Dr. Aishwarya B Sridhar for successfully completing her certification course in radio-diagnostics and proficiently completing her training. Guided and trained by a team of professionals including Dr. Bharat Aggarwal, Director - Radiology Services, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket and Dr. Harit Chaturvedi, Chairman - Max Institute of Cancer Care, Dr. Aishwarya B Sridhar is the second radiologist to complete the fellowship programme. Last year, Dr. Pragya Garg, MD was the first to complete and receive recognition under this fellowship.

With a commitment to impart awareness and educate about breast cancer, Fujifilm and Max Healthcare hospital as part of their association are running this fellowship programme to train doctors in Breast Mammography, Breast MR, and Breast Ultrasound techniques for a six month duration. Through this, they aim to train two radiologists each year towards the early detection of Breast Cancer.
Commenting on the success of the fellowship, Mr. Chander Shekhar Sibal, Senior Vice President & Head of Medical Division, Fujifilm India said, “We are delighted to announce the second fellowship certificate in radio-diagnostics to another doctor this year. With an increasing number of cases of breast cancer in women, it is imperative to not only raise awareness on the subject but also introduce modern technologies to ensure enhanced patient care. The primary goal of this fellowship is to train doctors in advanced diagnostics and spread awareness about the early detection of breast cancer.
