My diagnosis came during a holiday and hit me like a shock - from that moment nothing was the same. I chose not to waste my strength on ‘Why me?’, but to focus on each step of treatment. Much of what I went through was invisible: fatigue, bone pain, hormonal side effects and a fear of recurrence that is still with me today. The support of my husband, my family, friends and colleagues became my anchor and helped me reclaim my everyday life - my job, my passion for sports and my confidence. I am still myself, but I have discovered resilience, patience and a new clarity about what truly matters - I am here, I am active, and I appreciate every single day more than ever before.
