At Fujifilm, we believe everyone has a role to play in Giving our world more smiles.
As part of this uniting purpose, we’re hosting the 24hr Move and Make fundraiser event on Tuesday 10th November - Wednesday 11th November at Fujifilm House, Bedford, in support of our official charity partner, Trekstock Cancer Support.
Trekstock Cancer Support is a UK charity dedicated to helping those in their 20s, 30s and 40s navigate live with and beyond cancer. Every day, 99 people in this age group are diagnosed with cancer in the UK.
Trekstock’s tailored programmes help people manage the physical impact of cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery through movement, exercise and mental wellbeing.
The 24hr Move and Make fundraiser invites colleagues to participate in a physical or creative challenge in support of Trekstock Cancer Support. We believe fundraising should be accessible and fun for all, so this challenge ensures that everyone can get involved, making a positive difference to those in their 20s, 30s and 40s affected by cancer in the UK.
Here's the catch: we've got just 24 hours! Starting at 10am on Tuesday 10th November and finishing at 10am on Wednesday 11th November, we'll be against the clock to try and reach these ambitious targets - so we need you to help get us there!
The main challenges available during the 24 hours include:
Participating in the cycle in Reception from Bedford across the length of the UK!
We’re aiming for 600 miles cycled, with the distance across the UK representing the 99 people in the UK in their 20s, 30s and 40s who are diagnosed with cancer every day.
🎁 Creating and decorating Smile Boxes for healthcare professionals who’ve supported Trekstock and their beneficiaries, and creating items to go inside them (such as handmade cards, hand-painted pottery, bracelets, and personalised tote bags)
🧁Our Star Bakers will be helping bring baked goods to be sold in Reception, raising vital funds for Trekstock
Our aim is to raise over £5,000 for our official charity partner, Trekstock Cancer Support!
