FUJIFILM North America Corporation Celebrates Newest FUJIFILM Creators

Valhalla, N.Y. – FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging Division, is pleased to announce the addition of three new photographers to the acclaimed FUJIFILM Creators program. FUJIFILM Creators are a group of creative photography professionals with a passion for giving back to the image-making community by educating and mentoring in, and advocating for, the art of photography. As part of their affiliation with Fujifilm, the FUJIFILM Creators also support product launches, participate in public Fujifilm photo events, and are ardent champions of the FUJIFILM brand.

The newest FUJIFILM Creators are:

He started his photography journey by photographing his collegiate football teammates and his love of image making grew from there. Lanna Apisukh - Lanna is a portrait and documentary photographer based in New York City. Her work explores people and their relationship to place, culture and identity through bold and honest stories. Lanna’s background as a former elite gymnast and skateboarder continues to inspire her work today with the dynamic individuals and communities she photographs. Read more about Lanna here.

Jay Ybarra - Jay is a photographer from Austin, Texas who specializes in street and portraiture. He’s heavily inspired by hip-hop album art, comics, and movies. Jay’s photos are a celebration of the arts, and the spaces from which these creations come. Read more about Jay here.

These newest FUJIFILM Creators began their journeys with Fujifilm in 2020 as Collaborators, the primary level of Fujifilm’s professional photographer alliance program. As Collaborators, they each pitched a project and worked with FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging Division’s marketing team to establish their stories, create images and build connections. Through outstanding work on their individual projects, they were each selected as FUJIFILM Creators via Fujifilm’s competitive application process. The coveted spots on the FUJIFILM Creators team are filled once a year, in August.

“We’re both proud and excited to introduce our newest FUJIFILM Creators,” said Victor Ha, senior director of marketing and product management for FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Electronic Imaging Division. “Our three newest Creators blew us away with their talent, hard work and creativity, which earned them their spots on the FUJIFILM Creators team. Their outstanding achievements as FUJIFILM Collaborators paved the way for this exciting, level-up opportunity. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this talented group.”
