Valhalla, N.Y., – FUJIFILM North America Corporation is pleased to announce the second annual FUJIFILM Festival, which will take place from October 5-7, 2018 in Venice, California. The Festival will be held across various venues in Venice including The Rose Room, Big Red Sun, The Unlikely Florist and Hotel Erwin, with ticket availability strictly limited to just 150.
“The FUJIFILM Festival was created to unite many different people in one inspiring event for the common purpose of learning more about capturing stills and video in an immersive and exciting way,” said Yuji Igarashi, General Manager of the Electronic Imaging Division & Optical Devices Division at FUJIFILM North America Corporation.
This immersive Festival will offer a range of learning experiences including intensive full-day workshops, mini-workshops, elective courses, demonstrations, professional portfolio reviews, and exclusive networking opportunities.
“After the successful inaugural launch in 2017, we are very excited to be holding the second annual FUJIFILM Festival this year, as our way of delivering a unique and epic experience directly to photographers,” said Lisa Yang, Product Manager of the Electronic Imaging Division at FUJIFILM North America Corporation.
The FUJIFILM Festival 2018 has been designed for photographers and videographers of varying skill levels and will cover a number of different styles including street, dance, travel, landscape, and lifestyle. Any photographer is welcome to participate—attendees do not have to be current FUJIFILM users. However, attendees interested in learning more about X Series and GFX system cameras and lenses will benefit from the FUJIFILM Festival 2018 Loan Program, which will offer them the chance to borrow and test some of the latest and most coveted FUJIFILM gear.

From 4:00 to 6:00pm, attendees can choose from one of three options or alternate between all three: learn all the latest best practices for using FUJIFILM gear at the Tips and Tricks with FUJIFILM Experts tutorial; gain insights and feedback from photography industry experts at the Portfolio Review session; or do some valuable networking with FUJIFILM Festival partners at the Partner Hour Showcase.
Participate in a Free Public Photo Walk along Venice Beach Boardwalk
On Day Three (Sunday October 7, 2018), there will be a Public Photo Walk along Venice Beach Boardwalk. It is an open event and free for anyone who attends. The Public Photo Walk offers the opportunity to capture the character, excitement, and charm of this unique location. Experts will be available to provide advice for getting the best out of FUJIFILM gear.

At any point throughout the Festival, photographers can take advantage of a range of optional, complimentary add-ons. There will also be Check & Clean services, which allow attendees to drop off up to one X Series or GFX system body and lens combination for inspection and cleaning by Fujifilm experts. In addition, our Print Station lets photographers create up to three free prints per day of images taken during the Festival.
