Announcement of electronic signing using DocuSign application for Agreements

In this digitized world, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Malaysia (hereinafter referred to as FUJIFILM BI Malaysia) is embarking on Digital Transformation journey. This echo to our government launched MyDIGITAL or the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (2021 – 2030).
As part of our Operations Digital Transformation (DX) and Green Transformation (GX) initiatives, we are pleased to announce starting from 1st July 2023, signing an agreement with us will be signed electronically through DocuSign eSignature, replacing the traditional manual wet ink signature. Digital signature is an electronic signature, governed by the Digital Signature Act 1997.
FUJIFILM BI Malaysia is an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 company. In terms of security and compliance features, DocuSign eSignature is tracible and auditable. It can offer audit trail history of actions taken to the document including the details of when it was opened, viewed and signed even when the agreement requires multiple signatories across multiple locations whereby a wet signatory agreement do not have such tracking and has a higher risk of privacy breach. Hence it is a trusted secure application and reduces the risk of loss or falsification of agreements which is not found through wet signatory process.
Through electronic signing, it can protect our environment. This is in line with FUJIFILM BI Malaysia initiative on environmental sustainability, whereby embracing a paperless approach which contributes to lowering CO2 emissions and aiding in preservation of the environment besides the digital transformation.With the change and transformation to automated processes, will create a new value and sustainable solution that you will experience an improved overall efficiency and productivity which is fast, easy, and simple way to use, track and sign agreements at anytime, anywhere with electronic signing without geographic boundaries.
