FUJIFILM announces FUJINON TECHNO-STABI Compact Waterproof Binoculars

FUJIFILM has introduced two compact, waterproof binoculars to its FUJINON TECHNO-STABI range: the TS16x28WP and TS12x28WP. Lightweight yet powerful, these durable binoculars feature a magnification of 16x and 12x respectively and stabilisation correction of ±3°, and they are both fully waterproof to IPX7 standards. This makes them perfect for outdoor activities including concerts, festivals and sporting events, birding and nature observation, safaris, yachting and sailing, hiking, rambling and much more.

Equipped with FUJIFILM’s acclaimed TECHNO-STABI vibration correction, which can be activated with a simple switch at the centre of the binoculars, the TS16x28WP and TS12x28WP are effortless to use and provide a stable, sharp image throughout the magnification range, without the need for a tripod.

Rated IPX7 for protection against water ingress, both models are waterproof and immersible to a depth of 1m for up to 30 minutes. The robust, ergonomic, non-slip rubber coating ensures optimum comfort, control and grip, while the precise focusing wheel enables fast, exact adjustment with one finger, for those spontaneous moments. FUJIFILM’s phase-coated prisms deliver a sharp, high-contrast image.

Thanks to the CR2 lithium battery technology, these binoculars offer a long battery life for the image stabilisation function, with up to 30 hours of use on one cell. An automatic switch-off function after 10 minutes helps to preserve battery power.
