FUJIFILM Object Archive is an open format software designed specifically to transfer data to a tape-based, on-premise location for secure, long term archiving. The system has the flexibility to transfer additional copies to other destinations, such as the cloud and/or to our own FUJIFILM data centre (FUJIFILM Archive Services, FAS).
How Does It Work?
FUJIFILM Object Archive software can connect to your data source or receive data from an application. The next step is to transfer the data directly to tape so that you can store it on your own premises. Using tape in your data storage strategy helps protect against hackers and cyber-attacks by creating an air-gap. The web GUI also gives you complete control over the entire system.
