Apeos 7580 / 6580 boost work efficiency with high printing speed and wide selection of post-print processing options
HONG KONG, JANUARY 4, 2023 – FUJIFILM Business Innovation Hong Kong launches new A3 monochrome multifunction devices under its Apeos series, the Apeos 7580 / 6580, equipped with maximum printing speed of 75 sheets per minute and enhanced security features. Sales*1 is now available in the Asia Pacific.
The Apeos 7580 / 6580 are suitable for workplaces in the government ministries and agencies, financial institutions and educational organizations where intensive paper storage and management are required. The products promote work efficiency with high-speed bulk printing capabilities, maximum copying/printing speed of 75 sheets per minute and scanning speed of 270 pages per minute – performance driven by automatic and simultaneous double-sided scanning technology.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation is working continuously to enhance and expand its security features, to counter today’s increasingly diverse and sophisticated security threats. The new multifunction devices are boosted with new additional security capabilities to ensure online security and prevent leakage of stored data. The new security capabilities are as described below:
- Complies with the U.S. security standards NIST SP800-171*2
- Is compatible with new WPA3 protocol with robust security for wireless LANs
- Adopts the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0*3 security chip, which conforms to the latest encryption regulations from the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), a body responsible for standardized names formulating international security standards
- Provides improved program diagnostics when starting up the device
The Apeos 7580 / 6580 multifunction devices also conform to the latest requirements of the international ENERGY STAR Program*4 and adopts a new Smart WelcomEyes technology, that uses sensors to detect movements from approaching users – devices will automatically power up from sleep mode. These smart features improve energy consumption efficiency*5 and help to reduce environmental impact for businesses. A diverse range of post-printing options such as the staple-free finisher*6 option that can bind up to ten paper sheets without staples, creating a safe yet eco-friendly post-print processing environment and a finisher*7 that uses staples on documents of up to 100 sheets, and a paper-folding unit*8 that offers Z-fold and tri-fold options.

High Speed Print and Scan
- High productivity achieved with a maximum print speed of 75 sheets per minute*9.
- High-speed scanning speed of up to 270 sheets per minute*10. Color scanning is also available.
High-capacity Print Output
- All models include a standard feature known as the automatic duplex document feeder that is equipped with sensors for detecting scanning problems caused by accidental feed of more than one sheet at the same time.
- High-capacity paper feeder for large-volume output. The standard capacity is 4,645 sheets, and up to 8,800 sheets can be fed by installing the optional paper feeding tray*11.
User Friendly Interface and Document Management Options
- Notification lights serve as a reminder to users to collect their scanned or printed documents.
- An intuitive and easy to use interface with well-designed control panel in black background, thus allowing controls and selections to be shown clearly.
- Enable document management with an optional application, “Cloud Connector for kintone®” allowing users to automatically upload scanned documents or faxes received via the multifunction device directly to kintone® The application also allows users to select and print documents registered with the kintone® application directly from the device.
Extended Product Usage
- The standard replacement period for consumable and device components is prolonged using an extended-life, wear-resistant photosensitive drum and large toner cartridges.
