Kerala, 16th December 2022: Fujifilm India, a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare facilities today announce its partnership with Soorya Diagnostics LLP Center in Tirur Kerela. As a part of this partnership, Fujifilm has installed its latest CT Scan machine at Soorya Diagnostics Center to promote the screening culture and help people in the region get access to quality healthcare services.
The machine comes with a novel Artificial Intelligence technique i.e., FCT Pixel Shine, that improves the image quality of low radiation dose CT images with a reduction to the side-effects of increased quantum mottle and image noise. The deep machine learning techniques are used to build an artificial neural network (ANN) to improve the reconstruction quality of low dose CT images. This results in natural-looking high quality CT images without blurring in less than 60 seconds.
CT scans help in effectively determining when surgeries are necessary, reducing the need for exploratory surgeries, improving cancer diagnosis and treatment, reducing the length of hospitalizations, guiding treatment of common conditions such as injury, cardiac disease and stroke as well as improving patient placement into appropriate areas of care, such as intensive care units.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Chander Shekhar Sibal, Executive Vice President & Head of Medical Division at Fujifilm India said, “Access to healthcare has been deeply asymmetric in India and advanced medical technology products will help bridge this gap. We are pleased to associate with Soorya Diagnostics and we aim to reinforce our commitment towards being a socially responsible brand. With this partnership, our aim is to provide advanced healthcare facilities with respect to screening of critical health ailments to the people in the region. In line with our vision to provide our consumers with best in class products and solutions, we are determined to offer the highest standards of healthcare solutions and a holistic approach to improving healthcare at an affordable cost in India.”

Valsan, Consultant Radiologist and Designated Partner Soorya Diagnostics said “Soorya Diagnositcs has been at the core of high-tech diagnostics since it’s inception and we have tried to bring world class technology with a human touch to our patients. We are proud to install the first AI enabled ultra-low dose CT in Kerala. The most advanced CT in the region by far, our machine can provide excellent images at the lowest dose taking advantage of its artificial intelligence. I am sure the people of Tirur and adjoining areas will benefit from this installation”
