RATINGEN, Germany, October 14th, 2025. FUJIFILM Europe GmbH, Imaging Solutions Division, announces the addition of instax AiR Studio™ and Click to Collage features to its instax mini Link™ for Nintendo Switch™ App1. The free, downloadable App will be compatible with all instax mini Link™ smartphone printers as well as Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2. With the App, users can share their favorite character moments with fellow gamers by printing a custom, one-of-a-kind instax™ mini photo2 from their instax mini Link 3™ series Smartphone Printer.
1 A free Smartphone App, compatible with Android phones and iPhones, is required for use of the instax mini Link™ Smartphone printer. It can be downloaded from Google Play in the case of Android phones and from the App Store for iPhones, provided that there are some countries and regions where the instax mini Link™ for Nintendo Switch App will not be available for download. 2 Instant film sold separately.
The updated ‘instax mini Link™ for Nintendo Switch™ App’ features the interactive instax AiR Studio™, in which users will be able to create their own prints using elements from the Mushroom Kingdom. Additionally, the App includes the Click to Collage feature, which captures a series of six images at three second intervals, allowing users to enjoy a photobooth experience featuring characters, items, and more from the world of Super Mario.
Since the launch of the instax mini Link™ for Nintendo Switch™ App in 2021, instax has explored various ways of integrating consumer's favorite characters into their prints. The new instax AiR Studio™ and Click to Collage features in the app allow users to feel like they're part of the game through the photos they create. The free, downloadable instax mini Link™ for Nintendo Switch™ App allows Nintendo character frames, and stickers to be added to screenshots taken using the Nintendo Switch™ system’s capture function, which can be transmitted to the user’s Smartphone and then printed onto instax™ instant mini film .
