SINGAPORE, 18 October 2023 - 2023 marks the 40th anniversary of the Fujifilm Group's incorporation in Singapore. Since its establishment in 1983, our relationship with Singapore has been consistently positive, and we have steadily expanded our presence, even amidst the recent global pandemic.
To express our gratitude to our valued business partners and trade associates, Fujifilm Group hosted a celebratory dinner on October 6, 2023, at the prestigious Raffles Singapore Hotel. Entitled as “Forging Our Future Together - Fujifilm Celebrates 40 Years in Singapore”, the event showed the Fujifilm Group’s 40th years of history in Singapore and Fujifilm Group’s eagerness to further cement the partnerships built over the years. We were honoured to have distinguished guests, including H.E. Ambassador Hiroshi Ishikawa, Ambassador of Japan to Singapore, and Ms. Jacqueline Poh, Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board, as the event’s guests of honour, and Mr. Teiichi Goto, President and CEO, Representative Director of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation, presiding as the event host.
The event was a collaborative effort among the Fujifilm Group's subsidiaries in Singapore, including FUJIFILM Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., FUJIFILM Healthcare Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., FUJIFILM Business Innovation Singapore Pte. Ltd., and FUJIFILM Electronic Materials (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
In this celebratory dinner, an interactive exhibition display comprising of the Fujifilm Group’s comprehensive portfolio of products, solutions and services was specially arranged for the guests. It was a memorable evening of reflection on our four decades of successful partnership and collaboration while affirming our commitment in bringing new innovations and values within our group companies and continuing our contribution to Singapore, our business partners and customers for a brighter future.
