Bedford, September 17th, 2025 – Fujifilm UK and Fujifilm Healthcare UK are delighted to launch a three-year partnership with Trekstock Cancer Support, a UK-based charity that helps people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s rebuild strength, rediscover confidence, and redefine life during and after cancer treatment.
99 people aged 20-49 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. However, once treatment starts, they often vanish into a healthcare system that isn’t built for them. Too old for childhood services and too young for the ageing adult ward, Trekstock Cancer Support helps bridge the gap between childhood services and the ageing adult ward, creating a space for those in their 20s, 30s and 40s diagnosed with cancer to access the support they need. Their tailored plans cover fitness, nutrition, rest, and rehabilitation, ensuring continuous support through every stage – because cancer doesn’t stop when treatment ends.
As a leader in diagnostic imaging and key partner to the UK healthcare system and NHS, Fujifilm Healthcare UK is at the heart of innovative technologies supporting diagnosis as early as possible. Based on a 90-year global history of innovation, Fujifilm is proud to support healthcare systems across the UK, including the NHS, to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients for over 30 years, providing patient-centric diagnostic solutions and innovative treatments for long-term conditions such as cancer.
In the UK, this unique partnership between Fujifilm and Trekstock Cancer Support aims to reach clinical staff and teams at major UK cancer centres, and directly support the patients that they care for – such as planning for the provision of future joint Wellbeing Rooms; physical spaces in NHS cancer specialist treatment centres where people in their 20s, 30s and 40s can take respite from treatment on the adult ward and access tailored support. These Wellbeing Rooms will offer a more comforting and age-appropriate environment for people seeking a moment of reflection or time with friends and family away from busy wards. Through applying Fujifilm’s creative technologies in photography and print, these spaces will be brought to life, such as through the use of instax photo prints and calming wall art.
Celebrating the launch of the partnership, Allan Elborn, Managing Director, Fujifilm Healthcare UK said: “I’m delighted to enter this three-year partnership with Trekstock Cancer Support. Fujifilm Healthcare UK has always had a strong commitment to tackling cancer through its innovations in early detection diagnostic equipment, AI and medical IT. We are delighted to further underscore our commitment to tackling cancer through our new partnership with Trekstock, and hope to support as many people as possible in their 20s, 30s and 40s in the midst of their cancer treatment and beyond.”
Sophie Epstone MBE, Founder & CEO of Trekstock Cancer Support, mirrored Elborn’s views:

Tom Watanabe, Managing Director, Fujifilm UK & Chairman, Fujifilm Healthcare UK, reflected on the business’ development and its Group Purpose, highlighting: “Innovation is what we do, giving our world more smiles is why we do it. We are thrilled to be working with Trekstock with a joint aim of creating long-lasting positive impact to young adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s facing cancer. By applying our innovative technologies – from our heritage in photography and print, to our comprehensive healthcare and diagnostic imaging offerings today – this collaboration opens exciting opportunities to create unique projects together, that aim to support Trekstock in reaching people living alongside cancer and beyond.”
