SYDNEY, 25 November 2025: FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd is reaffirming its commitment to precision optics and outstanding performance with the introduction of a new voluntary warranty for its FUJINON binoculars. This initiative further underscores FUJIFILM Australia’s dedication to delivering superior optical products and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Research conducted by FUJIFILM Australia has identified that of the sample of Australian consumers surveyed, a majority have relatively limited expectations regarding binocular warranties, with the majority only expecting a minimum of two to three years on average.^*1

The new FUJINON Binoculars warranty covers:

• 3 years of protection for all Non-Optical Components, including focus mechanism, Techno-Stabi image stabilisation system, as well as electrical components such as circuit boards, gyro sensors, and central processing unit (CPU), and;
• 10 years of protection for all Optical Components, including lens elements, peeling of optical coatings and lens fogging.^*2

The enhanced warranty follows a growing interest in wildlife-related hobbies such as bird-watching, which has taken flight in recent years, as spending on birdwatching-related travel in Australia continues to soar, both domestically and internationally.^*3

With Australia being home to the second-highest number of endemic bird species in the world, Fujifilm’s new FUJINON binoculars warranty provides explorers with even greater confidence in the field, knowing their gear is protected no matter how far their adventures take them.

On the launch of the new binoculars warranty, Shaun Mah, General Manager of the Electronic Imaging Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM Australia, said:

The new warranty applies to any FUJINON binoculars first purchased by a consumer from FUJIFILM Australia Pty Ltd or any authorised FUJIFILM Australia distributor, dealer, or retailer in Australia on or after 1 October 2025.
